Altea Healthcare in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner for a part-time weekend role that travels between two facilities in the Kokomo area. You will diagnose, treat, and guide patients in post-acute and skilled nursing settings, providing high-quality care with a focus on patient outcomes.

The position offers competitive daily pay ($440–$540), uncapped bonuses, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for ongoing training and mentorship to support career growth for both new grads

Qualifications

• NP license or eligibility to obtain.
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date.

• Passion for geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!
