Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA seeks Certified Nurse Midwives to join the Women’s Evaluation and Triage midwifery team at Baystate Medical Center. This full-time role involves 16‑hour shifts from 7am to 11pm, blending direct clinical care with education of student midwives, residents, and medical students.

ACNM BE/BC certification is required; Massachusetts Midwifery license preferred. Bilingual Spanish is helpful.

• ACNM BE/BC certification is required; strong interest in teaching students and collaborating with teams is important.
• Bilingual Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate preterm and term labor, pregnancy complications, and urgent gynecologic presentations.
• Involve in education of student midwives, residents, and medical students with joint faculty appointments.
• Work a full-time 16-hour shift schedule (7am–11pm) in the Women’s Evaluation & Triage Unit.
