HealthOp Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide full-scope midwifery care across outpatient and hospital labor and delivery settings. The role covers prenatal through postpartum care, gynecologic services, and preventive care.

The ideal candidate will manage vaginal deliveries, assist cesareans, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Arizona CNM licensure or eligibility within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse-midwifery program.
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Active Arizona CNM license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of full-scope midwifery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services.
• Independently manage spontaneous vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean births as needed.
• Perform well-woman exams, preventive screenings, and contraceptive counseling.
• Support postpartum recovery including breastfeeding guidance and newborn care education.
• Educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and birth options.
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EHR.
• Promote evidence-based practice and patient advocacy throughout the care continuum.

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nurse-midwifery program
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
• Active Arizona Certified Nurse Midwife license or ability to obtain within 90 days
• BLS certification preferred
• Minimum one year of full-scope midwifery experience strongly preferred

• AZ State CNM License (Or in process)
• CNM Program Completed in USA (Not Puerto Rico)
