Open Door Community Health Centers is hiring a full‑time Certified Nurse Midwife to provide medical care and treatment to gynecological and obstetrical patients under supervision of an Obstetrician or Family Practice Physician. The role involves delivering babies, instructing patients in prenatal and postnatal health practices, women's health, and general gynecological care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver babies and provide inpatient/postpartum care.
• Instruct patients in prenatal and postnatal health practices.
• Provide women's health and general gynecological care.
• Assist Obstetricians and Family Practice Physicians as needed.

Education & Experience

• Graduate‑level midwifery program (Certified Nurse Midwife) from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: Minimum of 40 deliveries performed in the past 12 months.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current California Certified Nurse Midwife license.
• Current DEA license.
• Current CPR license.
• Board certification in specialty of practice (or board‑eligible if newer graduate).
• Valid California driver’s license with insurable record.
