Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our busy midwifery team. The successful candidate will provide full-scope midwifery care with hospital-based births and offer labor support including unmedicated labor, hydrotherapy, nitrous oxide, IV analgesia and epidurals.

This position requires AMCB board certification with 2+ years of midwifery experience preferred and willingness to support both Salem and Blacksburg offices within a collaborative OB/GYN

• Certified nurse midwife with AMCB board certification.
• 2+ years midwifery experience preferred.
• Ability to support Salem and Blacksburg offices.
• Experience with labor support including unmedicated labor, hydrotherapy, nitrous oxide, IV analgesia and epidurals.

Job Summary

Our busy midwifery practice in Salem, VA is seeking an additional provider to join our team.

Qualified Candidates

• Certified nurse midwife with board certification from AMCB
• 2+ years midwifery practice experience preferred
• Join a group of experienced midwives with 1:6 call
• Practice includes the full scope of midwifery services with hospital based births
• Comfortable offering labor support including unmedicated labor, hydrotherapy, nitrous oxide, IV pain medication and epidurals
• Our midwifery practice collaborates with a team of six OB/GYN physicians
• Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills
• Willingness to support both Salem and Blacksburg offices
