Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife to join its OB/GYN team. You will collaborate with physicians to provide prenatal, labor, delivery and postpartum care, and participate in reproductive health services at the Greensboro office and hospital.

The position emphasizes a team-based, patient-centered approach with approximately 44 hours per week, some office days, and hospital coverage at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

• CNM certification from ACME-accredited program.
• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN license in good standing and CPR/NALS certification.
• DEA license or ability to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care for obstetric patients.
• Collaborate with gynecologic physicians and deliver at hospital facilities.
• Offer reproductive health care, education, and counseling to women.
• Support patient experience and participate in team-based care.

Overview

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Greensboro, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful.

Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights

• Join an established and successful practice that has served the Greensboro metro area for over 30 years
• 1 office location in Greensboro
• Practice team consists of 5 OB/GYN physicians, 3 certified nurse midwives, and 1 nurse practitioner
• Approximately 44 hours per week divided between the office and hospital
• Clinic patient volume: 20-25 per day
• Office hours are 1 – 2 days per week based on clinical volume and office needs
• Delivering hospital: Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro

Requirements

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
• CPR and NALS Certification
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred
