Pay

Minimum starting pay: $18.35 per hour.

Description

• Assist RN’s and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents.
• Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patient/resident.
• Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients/residents.
• Take and accurately record vital signs.
• Assist and accompany patients in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety.
• Promptly and consistently respond to patient/resident needs.
• Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members.
• Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and diet kitchen as needed.
• Assist with ADLs—personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide support to patients and family members.

Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Georgia CNA certification required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
