Lutheran Senior Services in Illinois seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive care to residents as directed by nursing leadership. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, assisting with activities of daily living, meals, and therapies while maintaining dignity and independence whenever possible.

You will document care, communicate observations, and participate in care plans to continuously improve residents' lives in a supportive, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in MO or IL is required.
• Enrollment eligibility for PA nurse aide registry within 120 days.
• Interest in person-centered, compassionate resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care as directed.
• Answer call lights and requests; report observations to the nurse.
• Maintain residents' dignity; encourage independence where possible.
• Participate in care/service planning to improve residents' lives.
• Assist with meals and assist those needing full support.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Works as a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary team that focuses on the resident as the director of their own care.Job Responsibilities1. Maintains residents’ comfort; provides physical care with activities of daily living according to scope of practice; answers resident’s call lights and requests; reports observations of residents to the nurse2.
