Job summary

Great River Health seeks a Certified Nurse’s Aide to provide elder care under licensed supervision. You will assist with daily living activities and follow care plans in a patient-centered approach.

Position requires Iowa CNA certification, active registry status, and reliable availability for 2:00pm-10:30pm shifts, every other weekend, and limited holiday coverage. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Job Description:

Provides basic elder care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Utilizes an elder centered approach based on Elder centered principles to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living. The CNA/ Universal Worker provides each Elder with routine daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with the Elder’s assessment, choices, and care plan under the supervision of a licensed nurse to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times.
