Job summary

Briarwood Community Living Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated care team. Full time position with shift hours 6:30pm to 6:30am, offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include direct care rounds, monitoring residents, assistance with daily living activities, vital signs, documentation, admissions and transfers, infection control, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct care rounds to meet residents' needs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and patients.
• Notify Charge Nurse of any changes in condition.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed.
• Complete duties and documentation as required.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges in the Transitional Care Unit.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Ensure infection prevention practices.

Full time | Shift Hours: 6:30pm to 6:30am

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents needs are met including assisting with activities of daily living
• Maintain positive relationships with the residents/ Patients
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/ patient change in condition
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse
• Complete all assigned duties and documentation as required
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices
• Other duties as assigned
