Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care to residents. Shifts available across mornings and evenings with a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Missouri CNA certification required
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
• Candidates must maintain a working email and phone number for communication

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtain and deliver food trays; assist with feeding
• Support range of motion exercises and mobility
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed
• Provide direct and indirect resident care and comfort
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Essential Functionsof Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri
• Six months experience in a long‑term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
