Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our inpatient nursing team in New Lenox, IL. Under the direction of an RN, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment during day shifts (12-hour, 7a–7p). Excellent customer service and compassionate patient care are essential.

Current IL CNA certification is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, CPR certification is needed, and prior hospital experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Illinois CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assists with activities of daily living and monitors patient conditions as directed.
• Collaborates with the nursing team on the 7a–7p day shift in MEDICAL IP NURSING.

Requirements: Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. CPR certified. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment. Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.

Work Shift Details: Days - 12 Hours, 7a-7p Department: 6-4 MEDICAL IP NURSING.
