Job summary

The New Jewish Home, Manhattan Campus, is seeking part-time Certified Nursing Assistants on the evening shift (3:30 pm to 11:30 pm) to join our team. All CNAs should be able to work every other weekend.

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA performs direct resident/patient care and assists with Activities of Daily Living to maximize independence. This opening is for the evening shift with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Direct resident/patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to maximize independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident/patient care in a skilled nursing setting.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure resident comfort and safety.

The Nursing Department on the Manhattan Campus is seeking part-time Certified Nursing Assistants on evening shift to join our team! All CNAs should be able to work every other weekend. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) performs direct resident/patient care, assisting in attaining the highest possible level of functioning in all Activities of Daily Living (ADL) to maximize their independence.

Skills & Requirements

• Currently certified in NYS Commissioner of Health Nurse Aide Registry.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
