Bedford Specialty Care in Bedford, IA, a 39-bed long-term care community, is hiring Certified Nurse Aides to join our compassionate team.

This position offers full-time or part-time night shifts with a competitive hourly wage and shift differential, rewarding daily interactions, essential health monitoring, and support for residents; you will assist with activities of daily living and collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, comforting environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Iowa or ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families and healthcare team.
• Conduct routine vital checks and health monitoring.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance wellbeing.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.
