The role requires reliability and strong attendance, a cooperative demeanor, and precise record-keeping. A Texas CNA certification is required, and candidates should demonstrate patience and respect for residents' rights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas CNA certification.
• Accurately record information and perform technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
