Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Selmer, TN is hiring a CNA to support seniors and people with disabilities living independently. This entry-level position offers flexible hours, real impact, and a path into a growing home care industry.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, and help with daily tasks to improve clients' quality of life. We offer daily and weekly pay options, travel reimbursement, and direct deposit, along with safety policies and PPE to protect staff and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

CNA Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience

• Reliable transportation, required for member transportation. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions
