Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for our Wound Care unit. This full-time (days) position supports patient care in a 217-bed hospital with a long-standing community presence in southeast Iowa.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate support and adherence to the ORHC Mission and Core Values.
• Be knowledgeable and compliant with hospital policies including Employee Handbook and Policy Stat.
• Lead by example and use a clear chain of command to address concerns and suggestions.

More About Our Team
Ottumwa Regional Health Center is a 217-bed hospital that has served Ottumwa, Wapello County and the surrounding southeast Iowa communities for more than 130 years. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including emergency care, medical and surgical care, critical care, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, pediatrics, and specialty services. These include cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, wound care, pain management, sleep studies, and pathology.

What We're Looking For
Applicants are required to hold a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. 75+ Hour CNA Certification (must show proof of cert upon hire) required
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
