Job summary

WeCare Centers at Avalon Care Center in New Castle, PA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health status, and help maintain a comfortable, respectful living environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable CNA with PA certification.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Resident observation.
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Maintaining resident hygiene, including bed baths and grooming.
• Feeding residents and documenting intake.
• Making resident beds and keeping spaces clean and orderly.
• Transporting residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents.
• Providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere for residents and families.
• Assisting with clinical care as directed.

Job Duties

• Resident observation.
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Maintaining resident’s personal hygiene, including but not limited to bed bath, shaving, ect.
• Feeding of residents and documenting intake.
• Making resident beds and ensuring resident space is clean and tidy.
• Transporting residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents.
• Provide a caring and compassionate atmosphere for residents and family members.
• Assist with providing clinical care as directed.

Qualifications
