Rockwood Manor is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents and support the care team with high-quality service. The role emphasizes attendance, multitasking, and a cooperative demeanor.

You will assist with personal care, maintain resident environments, support mobility, document vitals, help with positioning, and encourage engagement through range-of-motion activities.

Qualifications

• Texas CNA certification required.
• Accurately record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Communicate clearly with residents and team; demonstrate patience.
• Genuinely cares for elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record Vital Information: vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

In this role, you will:

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines

• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked

• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics

• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption

• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety

• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
