Avir at Montana in El Paso, Texas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Night/Morning/Weekend Shift team. As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help with transfers.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.

• Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or at times upset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
• Provide catheter care as required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
