Job summary

Southwest Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time 6AM–2PM shift in Fort Worth, TX. We foster trust, compassion and clear communication to deliver resident-centered care and support a caring team.

You will work under the Charge Nurse, perform rounds every two hours, verify IDs before care or meals, assist with daily living tasks and keep beds and rooms clean.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter to administer nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before administering care or serving meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently licensed as a certified nursing assistant.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
