Job summary

Tennessee Quality Care is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to provide high-quality personal care and support to patients in our Tennessee-based team. You will perform basic caregiving tasks, monitor vital signs when ordered, and assist with daily activities to help patients maintain independence and comfort.

Qualified candidates are state-certified nurse aides with CPR certification, at least 18 years old, and able to work under supervision while contributing to a caring, patient-centered

Qualifications

• State-certified nurse aide credential required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CPR certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, hygiene, dressing and related tasks.
• Assist with basic nursing tasks under supervising clinician.
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Assist patients in self-administration of medications as appropriate.
• Report patient condition changes to the assigned nurse or case manager.

What Youll Do

• Providing hands on personal care including Baths Oral hygiene Shampoos changing bed linen assisting with dressing and undressing skin care and prevention of skin breakdown toileting assistance keeping living area clean and orderly as needed and other duties within their scope of practice assigned by supervising clinician
• Taking and recording oral temporal and axillary temperatures pulse respiration pulse oximetry and blood pressure when ordered with appropriate completeddemonstrated skills competency
• Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services as ordered with appropriate completeddemonstrated skills competency
• Assisting patients in the self administration of medication
• Reporting on patients condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse or case manager

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aid
• Meets the training requirements and successfully completes them
• At least 18 years of age
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification or another certification process as deemed appropriate by agency state and federal regulations
• Must have reliable transportation current drivers license and appropriate automobile insurance
