Lifespace Communities is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our Clinical team at Friendship Village of South Hills in Upper St Clair, PA. This on-site role delivers direct patient care to geriatric residents under licensed nurse supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA licensure.
• One year geriatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and provide direct patient care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring).
• Observe and report changes to the nurse.
• Record vital signs and maintain ADL records.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment.

A few details about the role:

• Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents to perform daily living activities such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, transfer and move residents, and transport residents to dining rooms and various events and activities.
• Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse. li>
• Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs.
• Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment.
• Promptly answer call lights and on a regular basis conduct assesses resident's needs and verify needs of the resident are met.
