Job summary

Friendship Village of South Hills in Upper St Clair, PA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our clinical team. You will provide direct patient care, assist residents with daily living activities, and follow care plans under supervision.

We offer competitive hourly pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time CNAs, shift differentials, flexible schedules, and a robust benefits package including PTO, tuition assistance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required.
• Minimum one year working with geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers).
• Observe, assess, and report changes to the nurse; document vital signs and ADLs.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and follow infection control standards.
• Respond promptly to call lights and coordinate with nursing team to meet resident needs.

Requirements

Here’s what you need to apply: Certified nursing aide licensure
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents to perform daily living activities such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, transfer and move residents, and transport residents to dining rooms and various events and activities. Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse. Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs. Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment. Promptly answer call lights and on a regular basis conduct assesses resident’s needs and verify needs of the resident are met.
