Job summary

Tennessee Quality Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care in Tennessee. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor health indicators, and support nursing staff to maintain comfort and safety.

Qualified candidates must be state-certified CNAs, at least 18, with CPR or equivalent certification and reliable transportation. We value a caring team culture and reliable, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide (CNA).
• Meets training requirements and completes them.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must maintain CPR certification or equivalent as required by agency/state/federal rules.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proper auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen, dressing assistance, skin care, toileting, and maintaining a clean living area.
• Taking and recording temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered (with skills competency).
• Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services as ordered (with competency).
• Assisting patients in self-administration of medication.
• Reporting on patient condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse or case manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Providing hands-on personal care including Baths, Oral hygiene, Shampoos, changing bed linen, assisting with dressing and undressing, skin care and prevention of skin breakdown, toileting assistance, keeping living area clean and orderly as needed, and other duties within their scope of practice assigned by supervising clinician.
• Taking and recording oral, temporal, and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency).
• Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
• Assisting patients in the self-administration of medication.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse or case manager.

Qualifications:

• Certified by the state as a nurse aid.
• Meets the training requirements and successfully completes them.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification, or another certification process as deemed appropriate by agency, state, and federal regulations
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance
