Job summary

Tennessee Quality Care is hiring dedicated CNAs to provide compassionate personal care and support in patient homes and facilities. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and help patients manage medications under supervision.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and dignity, with responsibilities including documentation and reporting changes to supervising clinicians and case managers. Experience in home health or long-term care is valued.

Qualifications

  • Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
  • Meets the training requirements and completes them.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Possess and maintain CPR certification or another approved certification.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen, assisting with dressing and undressing, skin care and prevention of skin breakdown, toileting assistance, keeping living area clean and orderly as needed, and other duties within scope of practice assigned by supervising clinician.
  • Taking and recording oral, temporal, and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure when ordered.
  • Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services as ordered.
  • Assisting patients in the self-administration of medication.
  • Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse or case manager.

What You’ll Do:
