Overview

St Anthony's seeks a Full‑time Certified Medication Aide on Day Shift. Must have an active CNA and CMA certification in the state of New Mexico. Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medication Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by certification and state regulations.

Position Highlights

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state‑approved medication aide training course is required.
• Completion of a state‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program is required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors.
