Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Platte City is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. You will administer medications to residents according to physician orders and provide direct care in a warm, resident-centered environment.

Requirements include Missouri CMT certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to assist with ADLs and proper documentation of medication administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with assistance as needed
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and dosage

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians and according to facility policies and procedures
• Monitor and record resident responses to medications and report any adverse reactions
• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with ADLs such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
• Respond promptly to resident calls and requests for assistance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident care
