Elba Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to support our interdisciplinary care team. You will collaborate with nurses and rehab staff to implement individualized care plans, maintain meticulous records, and uphold high standards of safety and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medication Technician with current credentialing.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Ability to work night shift and adapt to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses with administration of medications per policies.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes.
• Assist with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to support treatment plans and continuity of care.
• Demonstrate medication management expertise following standards and protocols.

• Assist licensed nurses and healthcare professionals with the administration of medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Monitor and report patient vital signs, behaviors, and any changes in condition to the healthcare team
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and autonomy
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to develop and implement customized treatment plans, ensuring seamless continuity of care
• Demonstrate expertise in medication management, adhering to strict standards and protocols
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
