Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living in Catonsville, Maryland is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to support residents with daily living and administer medications under clinical direction, delivering person-centered care that respects each resident’s preferences. You must be 18 or older with a Maryland CNA I certificate, a Certified Medication Technician credential, and CPR certification.

One year of CNA I and Medication Technician experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Location: Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Certified Medication Tech(CMTs). Our CMTs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

Compensation: Ranging from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour; based upon years of licensure. Potential for shift differential of $1.00 per hour for evening and night shifts.

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current, active CNA I certification for the state f Maryland
• Current, active certification for Certified Medication Technician
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA I experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medication Technician experience highly preferred
• Current CPR certification required.
