Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide / Med Tech in Jacksonville, FL. You will administer medications per orders, document promptly in MAR/TAR, and observe residents for safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
