Job summary

Higher Call Nursing Center in Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for the Weekend Shift to provide compassionate resident care, administer prescribed medications, and support the nursing team.

You will take vital signs, assist with daily living activities, document care accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to implement individualized care plans; weekend doubles under Baylor pay may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide general care and assistance to residents, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.

About the Role:

As a Certified Medication Aide (Weekend Shift), you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care of our residents. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, recording vital signs, and providing general care and assistance to residents. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.
