Job summary

The Crestmoor at Green Hills, part of The Aspenwood Company, seeks a compassionate Certified Medication Aide to support seniors in an independent and memory care setting. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and document accurately while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Full-time positions require weekend and holiday availability with day and overnight shifts. Benefits include a 401K match, PTO, healthcare options, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant with state-approved Medication Assistant Certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents' responses, and notify the Director of Resident Care of any concerns.
• Assist residents with medication according to procedures and supervise self-administration.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in resident condition.
• Count controlled substances with outgoing RMAs and ensure accuracy before accepting keys.
