Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Medication Aide in Edmond, OK to administer medications and provide direct resident care under physician supervision. You will follow state regulations, nursing standards, and facility policies while documenting resident conditions and reporting changes to your supervisor.

Requirements include a current CMA license with state-approved training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work independently with tact and compassion.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed CMA with state-approved training and exam.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Prefer 1 year CMA experience; AL/SNU experience is a plus.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by physician under supervision.
• Provides direct resident care per individualized care plan.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment in the community.
• Documents resident health and emotional status as required.
• Reports changes to supervisor promptly.
• Supports self-administration of medications per policy.
