Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Ohio. Under nurse supervision, you will safely administer prescribed medications to residents in our care facilities.

You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, monitor residents for side effects, maintain accurate records, and uphold confidentiality. This role requires Ohio CMA certification and completion of an approved CMA program.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, reading medication labels and basic documentation.
• Completion of CMA training program approved by the Ohio Board.
• Current CMA certification in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescription medications under nurse supervision.
• Administer oral, topical, insulin and other routes as trained.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Monitor residents for side effects and report concerns to the nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Prioritize tasks to meet resident needs.
• Communicate with manager and peers about resident issues.
