You will follow physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and document corrections promptly. The role requires a current Texas Medication Aide certification, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a patient-centered approach.

• Must hold a current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience with medication administration procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Professional, patient-centered communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Administer Medications: PO, topical, and rectal as ordered.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions or changes in resident status.
• Document accurately in accordance with policies.
• Maintain medication cart safety and environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control procedures during administration.
• Report medication errors to Charge Nurse immediately.
