Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our compassionate team in Columbus, Nebraska. You will administer medications, monitor resident conditions, and assist with daily living activities to support our post-acute rehab residents.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing, with a full-time schedule 6a-6p / 6p-6a in a nursing department focused on rehabilitation and skilled care. Strong communication is essential to collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Nebraska Medication Aide certification required.
• Nebraska Nurse Aide certification required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by physicians under supervision of Charge Nurse or supervisor.
• Monitor and record vital signs, medications, and treatments as required.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse or supervisor.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medications, treatments, and resident care.
