Accel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide to join our compassionate care team. You will administer oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following physician orders and in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.

In this role you will uphold the five rights of medication administration, maintain accurate records, monitor for adverse reactions, and communicate promptly with the nursing

Qualifications

• State Nurse Aide certification required.
• State-approved medication administration certification.
• Familiarity with the five rights of medication administration.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications as ordered under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Record administrations accurately and promptly.
• Monitor for side effects and report to a licensed nurse.
• Adhere to state/federal regulations and facility policies.
