Job summary

Sunny Springs Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide to provide quality resident care under the supervision of the charge nurse. The CMA will administer medications, perform rounds, and follow facility policies.

Requirements include Texas CNA and CMA certifications, plus a minimum of 6 months of patient care experience. Excellent communication in English is essential; full-time hours with shift coverage.”

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
