Job summary

Bluestem Communities is hiring full-time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston, KS. Multiple shifts are available, and the CMA will administer oral and topical medications and provide direct resident care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be Certified Medication Aide in Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and simple treatments as ordered by the resident’s physician in accordance with Policy and Procedure.
• Chart all medications and treatments given in the resident’s electronic Medication Administration Record immediately after administration.
• Assist in implementing resident Plan of Care.
• Assist residents to and from activities and hairdresser.
• Participate in shift change reports and Plan of Care meetings.
