Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate team in a vibrant assisted living community. You will administer medications, monitor residents and work under a licensed nurse to ensure well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Technician or CMA course and current certification as required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA program if required by state employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for patient safety.
• Basic computer knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Attend a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education for certification maintenance.
• Provide verification of TST as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine and PRN medications as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and report observations to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate medication documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to provide person-centered care.
