Miller’s Health Systems is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to provide basic patient care and medication administration in a compassionate team setting. You will assist patients with daily activities and document care as part of a collaborative nursing team.

The ideal candidate is Indiana-certified as a QMA, with strong communication skills, professionalism, and prior long-term care experience. Attention to detail and a patient-centered approach are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Resident Care Assistant and Medication Assistant Training courses.
• Successful completion of the 60 hour Qualified Medication Assistant course and the 40 hour practicum.
• Pass the Qualified Medication Assistant exam.
• Certified as a Qualified Medicine Assistant by the State of Indiana.
• Registered with State Department of Public Instruction.
• Meet all qualifications for Nurse Assistant.
• Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant.
• Experience in long term care preferred.
• Follow instructions.
• Communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic care to patients and assist with daily activities.
• Administer medications to patients and record related documentation.
• Watch for changes in patients and quickly report to nurses.
• Collect and record information vital to patients’ conditions and treatment.
