Meadowlake Retirement Village in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA/ACMA) to join our nursing team. You will administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Must have current nurse aide certification in the state.
Current state-approved medication administration certification is required.

Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
Records administration of medications and treatments accurately.
Observes for and reports reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
Administers PRN medications in accordance with regulations and policy.

Certified Medication Aide Key Responsibilities:

Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Must demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
