Job summary

Cloverdale Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Scottsboro, AL seeks a dedicated Medication Aide Certified MAC to ensure safe and accurate medication administration for residents.

You will monitor patients, assist with vital signs, maintain records, and collaborate with the care team to support excellent outcomes. Alabama certification is required and prior long-term care experience is preferred. This full-time role is on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Medication Aide Certification required.
• Experience in healthcare, preferably long-term care.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor patients and report changes to staff with essential updates.
• Assist with vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature checks.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Collaborate with staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
