Job summary

Cassia's Fargo Elim is hiring a Level II Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our new health care center in Fargo, ND. You will administer medications, assist with daily care, and work with nurses and caregivers to ensure safety and well-being for residents.

The ideal candidate holds both a CNA and a Level II CMA certificate, is reliable, compassionate, and committed to supporting older adults with dignity and respect. Full-time Day shifts are available at 6:30 AM–7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Current North Dakota CNA certification required.
• Must hold current CMA Level II certification in North Dakota.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications.

As a CMA at Fargo Elim, you will administer medications, assist with daily care needs, and work closely with nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of safety and well-being for those you serve. Shifts Available: Days: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
• Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls and helping residents to the bathroom.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Qualifications

• Current North Dakota Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must hold current CMA Level II certification in North Dakota.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
