Job summary

Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford, Oklahoma seeks a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications and support residents’ daily care in a full-time role.

You will work with licensed staff, maintain accurate records, participate in care planning, and help maintain resident comfort and safety while delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ordered by licensed nursing staff.
• Monitor and record medication administration, including dosage and timing.
• Provide basic care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Participate in care planning and implementation, including developing and updating individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care.
