Job summary

Stillwater Creek Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. You will administer prescribed medications, document outcomes, and support residents with daily living activities in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CMA certification is required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment is preferred.

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition or cognition as needed.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Administer, assist, and supervise the administration of medications according to the physician's order.
• Document medications administered, along with their effectiveness and any side effects. Update the patient's chart.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, including shaving, oral care, nail care, hair care, foot care, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in the resident's physical condition and cognitive/emotional status, as needed.

Experience and Education

• Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment preferred.
