Job summary

Harmony Cedar Rapids seeks a Certified Medication Aide to join our skilled nursing team. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living activities, monitor condition changes, maintain a safe environment, and support care plans with compassion and attention to detail.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, Iowa CNA certificate, approved CMA training, and CPR. One year of CMA/CNA experience is preferred; we will invest in the right candidate.

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Cedar Rapids by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Qualifications

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
