Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide compassionate nursing care to residents across all shifts. You will pass medications, assist with daily living activities, and document care under RN supervision.

Qualified CMAs will have certified CMA credentials, a caring personality, and the ability to read, write and speak English, with a commitment to scheduled shifts and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications & Details:

To qualify for the position, you will need:

1. Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
2. A caring & loving personality and demeanor
3. The ability to work your scheduled shift
4. The ability to read, write & speak English

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

As a CMA, you will work under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to:

1. Pass Medication
2. Perform routine tasks in patient care
3. Assist residents in activities of daily living
4. Document and chart your care for each resident
5. Provide care and compassion to foster the resident's physical and emotional well-being
6. Follow infection control procedures
