Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide for 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm shifts. The role involves administering oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following physician orders and facility policies.

Join a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Qualifications

• State certification as a Nurse Aide is required.
• State certification as a Medication Aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
• Highly developed observation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsabilités

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
